Tutor Program
The Tutor Program is a free service that allocates a volunteer tutor to help students with their studies, excepting assessable tasks. If you would like to be assigned a tutor, complete a Student Application for a Tutor form and return the completed form to the Student Support team.
Are you interested in becoming a volunteer tutor?
To be eligible to participate in the Tutor Program applicants must meet the following criteria:
- be a current CIP with a membership level of Associate, Senior Associate or Fellowship
- have recently completed a relevant ANZIIF Certificate, Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification (or equivalent)
- have gained a credit or above in the module nominated to tutor
Volunteer tutors are eligible for CIP points. One hour of tutoring constitutes 1 CIP Point and a maximum of 15 CIP points may be claimed by a Tutor in any one year.
To apply to become a Tutor, please complete the New Tutor Application form and return it to the Student Support team.
Study Groups
To join a study group please register your wish to participate on your enrolment application. Students will then be sent details of their study group members after the enrolment change cut off date for their study period.
Please also note that study group members cannot prepare assignments together as these must be a student’s own work.
