Communicating credentials in an ever-expanding online marketplace can be challenging. That’s why ANZIIF is providing its members and community with more tools to stay relevant. We have partnered with My eQuals to provide you with a digital version of your credential, qualification or achievement.
What are Digital Badges?
Digital badges are a secure way to display and share your professional achievements. By digitally certifying your ANZIIF achievement you can verify with employers, clients, peers and the industry that your competencies are up to date and issued by a trusted provider, ANZIIF.
Unlike paper certificates, digital badges allow you to easily demonstrate your competencies and achievements online. ANZIIF digital badges protect the integrity of your achievement by providing a link to verified data that describes your achievements and the process required to earn them. Each digital badge has a unique URL attached to an individual – giving you the digital recognition you deserve.

Digital badges help you gain recognition by allowing you to easily display and share your achievements. As they are available online they are portable and transparent, and the detail behind each badge means others can see what it took for you to earn the award.
You can share your badge on a social networking profile like LinkedIn, embed into an email signature or web page and also share it through email or social media. According to LinkedIn research, profiles with certifications and badges receive six times the number of profile views.
What Digital Badges does ANZIIF Award?
ANZIIF launched the digital badge program in November 2020 and continues to expand the digital badges it awards. ANZIIF currently awards digital badges to:
- ANZIIF CIP Members
- Attendees of the Reinsurance International Study Course (RISC)
- Certificate holders of ANZIIF New Zealand Compliance for Advisers (General Insurance Broking) or ANZIIF New Zealand Compliance for Advisers (General Insurance)
- Those who have completed industry’s Life Insurance Foundation Requirement
Badges issued from August 2026 are delivered through My eQuals. Badges issued before August 2026 remain available on Credly.
How do I Claim and Share my ANZIIF Digital Badge?
For badges issued from August 2026:
- You will receive an email from My eQuals
- Click the link in the email to access your badge
- Create a free My eQuals account, or log in if you already have one
- View and share your badge
Once you have accessed your badge, you can share it from your My eQuals account in a variety of ways, including:
- LinkedIn profile, Emailed, In an email signature, Digital CVs, Websites, Online Proposals, Social media
If your badge was issued before August 2026, it is hosted on Credly. Check the email you received from Credly to claim and share it, or contact our support team below.
