Government Training Incentives

ANZIIF traineeships have been benchmarked against the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), resulting in a nationally recognised and quality assured qualification.

Depending on which state the trainee lives, government funding is available for a number of ANZIIF’s courses. There are programs available to both new and existing employees, and employees who have already begun but not yet completed an ANZIIF qualification may also be eligible.

In order to assess your eligibility for government training incentives, contact your nearest Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN).  AASN’s are contracted by the Australian Government and they will assist you by assessing your eligibility for government training incentives and later, managing your training contract. To get started, search for your nearest AASN and set up an interview.

Program Fees and Funding

Financial Incentives

Employers can receive pre-approval for traineeship subsidies with no obligation and at no charge via a pre-program employee eligibility check.* A pre-approval check is available from  an ANZIIF-preferred Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN). Contact ANZIIF for its preferred AASN's or visit the Australian Apprenticeships website. 

Employers who receive a government subsidy will receive their payment directly. ANZIIF is not involved in the subsidy process.

Delivery Method and Student Support

Each module in the traineeship runs for 5 or 7 weeks and is based on individual study. Assessment consists of one assignment and one two hour examination per module. Study materials are delivered by post with materials also available online for immediate and easy access.

ANZIIF offers student support via pre-enrolment contact to help students to develop an individual study plan. Other support services are also available based on individual student needs.

Trainees may be eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) credits for modules at no extra cost based on previous formal studies or relevant professional experience.
