The ANZIIF Turks Bright Light Award is closed. Watch this space for the next launch date.
The ANZIIF TurksLegal Claims Scholarship was born out of a passion for discussing hot topics and generating ideas in general insurance claims. Ten years on and that passion hasn't changed but the platform for presenting your ideas or views on claims has evolved to become the 'Bright Light Award'.
Now in its fourth year, the Bright Light Award is a platform for general insurance professionals to pitch an idea or opinion on general insurance claims to a panel of industry leaders.
The winner of the award will win a prize valued up to $6,500 - including $5,000 cash.
Entries can be done either as a team (of up to 3 people) or as an individual.
The Bright Light Award is open to all Australian residents and applicants must work directly in a capacity connected with general insurance (for the purposes of the entry criteria, the term 'general insurance' includes workers compensation), and be based in Australia. Entry is not open to members of the ANZIIF Board or ANZIIF employees.
Each Award participant will earn six CIP points where eligible.
The finalists will be invited to a short discussion to explore their idea in the last two weeks of November and the prizes will be awarded at the virtual ANZIIF General Insurance Breakfast on 1 December 2021.
