Simone is the CEO of Insurtech Australia, a national not-for-profit organisation with a vision to create a world leading insurtech ecosystem which aims to foster a diverse community of insurance innovation and collaboration across the Australian insurance industry.

An experienced leader in the insurance industry, Simone has held senior executive roles in both Australia and the UK and also has management consulting experience. Her previous role was that of Chief Operating Officer for Munich Re in Australasia. Additionally, she has been a Non-Executive Director of ANZIIF since August 2018.

Louise is e5 Workflow’s Partner Manager and has been with e5 for almost 4 years. At e5 our customers are at the centre of everything we do and although Louise’s background is varied, it has always been customer centric. Louise has worked in customer solutions for Superannuation in an inbound call centre, worked in Bid Management across the Resources and Construction sectors.

Since joining e5 Louise has worked as an Account Manager for several of our Private Health and General Insurance customers before moving to her current role. Working closely with our partners allows Louise to harness the e5 resources available to deliver a best in practice solution for new e5 customers.

In his role, Vas is responsible for leading and executing insurance partnerships across key regions such as Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

Prior to Cover Genius, Vas held numerous leadership positions at Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad. He holds a Bachelors in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics, and has a passion for building insurtech businesses.

Kathryn Wood is COO, Co-Founder and Board Member of handdii – technology connecting insurance companies and their customers directly to local contractors to fast track the property claims process. Our clients include 4 prominent Australian and 7 U.S insurers including two top ten with a national contractor network in Australia and coverage across 28 states in the U.S.

Prior to handdii Kathryn led the Motor and Property claims division for QBE Australia with accountability for over 250,000 customer claims, $1.5B indemnity spend and over 600 FTE across Australia and the Philippines. Other previous roles include Customer Experience, Claims Transformation; Workforce Optimisation and Contact Centre Leadership in the insurance and services industries. Kathryn completed an Executive MBA at RMIT University in 2017 and is currently residing in the United States.
