Insurance Brokers Code of Practice 2022 - Member access

14 Jul 2022
Insurance Broking

This hour-long course is based on the 2022 Insurance Brokers Code of Practice and applies to all insurance brokers who subscribe to this Code.

It takes the form of an interactive simulation in which the learner is required to make choices to progress the story. Contextual references to the Code are made along the way so the learner always knows how the Code applies to their everyday broking activities.

This course was written with the expertise of Karen Atherton, Account Manager, Coastsure Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd, and was reviewed by Allyssa Hextell, Policy and Research Manager, NIBA, and Daniela Kirchlinde, Code Compliance and Operations Manager, IBCCC.

By the end of this course, learners should be able to:

  • apply Code commitments to broking practices
  • demonstrate the ability to meet Code obligations in client interactions and broking practices
  • deal with clients per the Code’s vulnerability standards.

Please ensure you complete this course in one sitting as the website will not hold your progress if you leave for an extended period or close your browser.

This unit is complimentary for ANZIIF members. Log in to access this course.

Please note: There is a known issue around claiming points that we are investigating. In the meantime, please use the CIP register to manually add your point or reach out to [email protected].
