This webinar will give participants the opportunity to engage with facilitator Paul Muir as he discusses the role that the 2020 General Insurance Code of Practice will play in conjunction with other regulatory reform in meeting community needs, standards and expectations.

    As a former Executive Manager, Compliance at a major insurer, Paul is regularly engaged to provide insights on industry happenings. Paul is a leading commentator on the impacts of the Financial Services Royal Commission and is keenly sought by insurers and others to provide his insights on the impacts of regulatory reform and the 2020 General Insurance Code of Practice. Paul does this from a customer experience perspective.

    In February 2020, Paul was appointed as the Alternate Industry Representative on the General Insurance Code Governance Committee. A position that Paul is honoured to serve.

    In 2018 Paul co-founded ‘CertFair’. CertFair assesses a firm's fairness & provides assistance to enable the firm to appropriately respond to the ever-changing Australian financial services environment and community expectations

    Paul holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), Fellow of ANZIIF, Diploma of Management and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Paul is passionate about diversity and inclusivity, and has a close relationship with Wheelchair Sports NSW.
