With a strong passion for the insurance industry he is keenly interested in helping raise its profile and ensure it is seen as a desirable career.  He currently sits as Chair of the WA “National Insurance Broker Association” Divisional Committee which provides a platform to help promote representation, education and professionalism. The most current project is working with NIBA and WorkCover WA to develop a new standard in Workers Compensation training for all current and new brokers.

    Amy is the EM Corporate & Commercial Underwriting WA for Vero. She has spent the last 18 years in the Insurance Industry across both Commercial General Insurance and Life Insurance and held Senior roles through Underwriting, Product, New Business and Service Delivery.

    Amy specialises in Strategic and People Leadership with key strengths in:

    • Building great teams: lifting a team to its full potential, career development, mentoring, creating strong positive culture, managing through change, communication and stakeholder relationships.

    • Customer focus: understanding the customer (both internal and external) and reviewing processes to improve the end experience.

    • Relentless execution: setting and delivery of clear strategic focused goals to improve the long term result for the customer and the business.

    In addition, Amy is an Internationally recognised NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Practitioner, Time Line Therapy Practitioner and Certified Level 2 Coach.

    Michelle Tremain is PwC's Perth Managing Partner and also leads the firm's national Indirect Tax team.

    PwC Australia’s purpose is to build trust in society and solve important problems. Michelle is widely recognised for her innovative thinking and insight in providing specialist indirect tax consultancy services to a wide range of clients throughout Western Australia. 

    With over 24 years’ experience in the local market, Michelle is highly respected across the business community and she has led the PwC Perth GST team for the last 14 years.

    Michelle has a demonstrated passion for the arts and has been proactive in her personal support for local emerging artists. She is currently a board member for the Perth Theatre Trust, who manage some of the state’s most well-known arts venues.

    Chris White is the Acting Chief Executive Officer. Chris has more than 31 years’ experience in workers’ compensation and occupational safety and health policy in Western Australia. Mr White has held senior policy and management roles at both WorkCover WA and WorkSafe WA.

    Jonathan is a dispute resolution and litigation lawyer that has been practising in insurance and marine law for over 25 years. 

    Jonathan advises international and Australian insurers, local and state governments (including their councillors and officers), directors and other professionals on professional indemnity and D&O insurance issues. Jonathan also advises on indemnity and general liability, employment practices liability and property claims.

    Jonathan also represents clients in respect of international and domestic shipping disputes. He acts for a number of international insurers (including P&I clubs), Australian insurers, ship owners, ports, charterers and commodity exporters.

    He has experience in handling cases in the English Courts, Hong Kong Courts, the Federal Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Western Australia. He has also handled arbitrations in Australia, London, Hong Kong and China.

    Jonathan is recognised as a Preeminent Professional Indemnity Lawyer in Western Australia by Doyles Guide (2017).
