AQF Diploma of Life Insurance
ANZIIF's Diploma of Life Insurance is designed for employees working in life insurance. Successful completion entitles the participant to Senior Associate Certified Insurance Professional (CIP) membership of ANZIIF.
Life Insurance Professional Standards
Over the last 18 months, ANZIIF has been collaborating with Australia's life insurance industry to establish an industry-wide Professional Standards Framework (view the media release). As a result of this work, there will be significant changes to the Certificate IV in Life Insurance (FNS41515) (view more details on PwC's site).
It is anticipated that those changes will be endorsed by the Department of Education Skill and Employment in August 2021. ANZIIF's updated Certificate IV in Life Insurance, which will reflect the new industry requirements, will be available from late October 2021. Before that, we are not taking new students for the current version of the Diploma of Life Insurance (FNS31515).

Course Structure
To enrol in the Diploma, students must have previously completed the Institute’s Certificate IV in Life Insurance. Students can then complete an additional two elective modules not already studied to be awarded the Diploma.
