This short course is based on the 2022 Insurance Brokers Code of Practice written by the National Insurance Brokers Association (NIBA).
It is aimed at insurance professionals who work in small or large broking businesses dealing with retail and/or commercial clients. It describes how to address Code standards in everyday broking practices and provides an overview of how to interact with vulnerable clients.
This course has been developed in conjunction with subject matter experts from the Insurance Brokers Code Compliance Committee and NIBA.

What you'll learn
By the end of this course, you should be able to:
- apply Code commitments to broking practices
- demonstrate the ability to meet Code obligations in client interactions and broking practices
- deal with clients per the Code’s vulnerability standards.

Assessment
This course takes the form of an interactive simulation. Questions are built into the content and correct responses will progress the story. Complete the simulation to pass the course and receive a Certifcate of Completion.
