Tania Charles was appointed Specialist, Technical Insurance Capability in September 2021. Prior to this she was part of the IAG Internal Audit team. Tania has worked for IAG for over 20 years, starting her insurance career in Wellington with the State brand. She moved to Auckland and into the Commercial Property Portfolio team, and since then has worked as a manager in the NZI brand and as an internal auditor for IAG.

In her current role, Tania is responsible for researching and writing learning content on insurance topics and IAG topics for IAG employees across New Zealand and Australia. The content is designed to connect the learner with the insurance customer and the community and has received international recognition with a LearnX platinum Awards 2022 and 2023.

Tania is an alumni of Massey University and a Fellow of ANZIIF. She is about to commence a Financial Advisors Qualification through ANZIIF and outside of work enjoys swimming and running at a very social level.

Moya Radley is a learning professional who currently leads IAG’s Insurance Faculty. She has a diverse background, with experience in academia, insurance education and in financial services. 

With foundations in social anthropology, Moya's career journey includes lecturing and field research engagements at the University of the Northwest in South Africa, and the management of the education offering as part of her work at the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA).

IAG’s Insurance Faculty won three Platinum placings for excellence and innovation in education at the LearnX Awards in 2022 and 2023. These awards are testament to the Insurance Faculty team’s unwavering commitment to advancing professional development within the insurance sector. This is a fact that Moya is very proud of. Moya’s ability to bridge academia and the insurance industry ensures that the Faculty remains at the forefront of progressive learning practices, while supporting industry standards and capability development.
