Andrew has over 20 years of liability underwriting experience in both the New Zealand and London markets.
More recently Andrew has specialised in Cyber risks and products, and has researched and underwritten cyber risks since 2011.
He was involved in launching one of the first cyber products into the NZ market and worked on the development of NZI’s cyber products.

Joseph Fitzgerald is a Partner at Wotton + Kearney (New Zealand) in the Cyber, Privacy and Data Security team.
Joe provides advice to large sporting, health, education and infrastructure bodies, as well as SME and non-profit entities. He takes a proactive and commercial approach to addressing issues such as incident response, cyber insurance coverage, data privacy and data protection.
While working in the UK, Joe advised on several large-scale GDPR readiness projects and the development of cyber incident response plans.
Joe is a fellow of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and was recognised for his expertise as a finalist in the Young Insurance Professional of the Year category at the ANZIIF NZ Industry Awards (2021).
