ANZIIF Webinar: Using AI in Life Insurance Claims

The use of AI to improve customer experience, efficiency and effectiveness has taken off in various industries including throughout general insurance claims. Life insurers on the other hand have been slow to adapt.

This presentation asks insurers to consider why adoption has been slow. It focuses on the potential for AI to improve the claims process for life insurers and their customers, and also considers the implications of doing so.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

At the end of this webinar, attendees will be able to:

  • Understand that AI is no longer a far-fetched concept, but is widely used to optimise all areas of organisations globally, including in claims
  • Describe the opportunities that exist throughout the claims journey – organisations must prioritise to ensure that algorithms are deployed in a way that adds the most value
  • Understand that deploying AI within claims requires organisations to re-assess their capability-mix, culture, and case manager career paths
