The use of AI to improve customer experience, efficiency and effectiveness has taken off in various industries including throughout general insurance claims. Life insurers on the other hand have been slow to adapt.

This presentation asks insurers to consider why adoption has been slow. It focuses on the potential for AI to improve the claims process for life insurers and their customers, and also considers the implications of doing so.

    Kristi is the Claims Transformation Lead at Resolution Life Australasia (previously AMP Life). She is driving the delivery of a reimagined claims journey, through the use of digitisation and advanced analytics, including artificial intelligence.

    With more than 13 years’ experience in life insurance across Product Development, Program Delivery, Compliance and Regulatory issues, Kristi has developed new products and run multiple large-scale programs.

    Recently, Kristi completed a Masters in Business Administration with a focus on growth strategies through corporate entrepreneurship and venturing, capped by time in Barcelona exploring digital banking, and innovation driven by Moonshot Thinking.

    Having worked extensively on responding to the Royal Commission, and as a key contributor to the FSC industry group that drafted the Life Insurance Code of Practice, Kristi is passionate about deploying new solutions to improve outcomes for insurance customers. She is also a passionate advocate of exploring how shared value solutions can be deployed and how technology can facilitate this.
