How it works
1. Talk it through. Discuss your challenge or opportunity using the expressions of interest button below. You don't need a fully formed project.
2. Scope the project. APR.Intern helps define objectives, expertise, timeframe and outcomes.
3. Meet your candidates. APR.Intern shortlists suitable candidates from universities nationwide; you interview and choose
4. Run the internship. A focused 3 to 6 month placement, with the researcher supported by an academic mentor and regular check-ins.
5. Apply the findings. You receive the research, analysis and recommendations, including a final presentation and written report.
How long does an internship run and what does it cost?
APR.Intern research internships generally run for three to six months, depending on the project scope and required outcomes.
The industry contribution currently starts from $19,900 plus GST for a three-month internship. This includes the researcher’s stipend and APR.Intern’s program management services.
Longer internships are available, and eligible organisations may be able to access subsidies to help offset the cost of a placement.
