We are thrilled to announce the Diversity and Inclusion event in 2024 is a luncheon.

Join us for an engaging event focused on advancing inclusion and diversity efforts within the workplace. During the luncheon, our keynote speaker will provide insights into the Worth the Risk report, discussing its outcomes and the 24 recommendations it proposes, along with best practices for collaborating with community organisations.

Following the keynote, a panel discussion will delve into practical strategies for fostering a culture of belonging, utilising data-driven approaches to measure the impact of inclusion initiatives, and exploring the intersection of diversity with innovation.

Don't miss this opportunity to gain actionable insights and strategies for creating an inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and respected.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Discuss practical strategies for fostering a culture of belonging in the workplace, moving beyond the basics of diversity and inclusion to create an environment where all employees feel valued and respected.
  • Evaluate the significance of involving insurers and regulatory bodies in initiatives aimed at reforming policies or practices, recognising their pivotal role in effecting meaningful change.
  • Understand the importance of using data-driven approaches to track progress and measure the impact of inclusion and diversity initiatives, exploring how metrics can inform decision-making processes and demonstrate the effectiveness of these efforts.

About InsurePride

InsurePride, formerly known as the InterInsurance Network, was established in 2018 following the legalisation of marriage equality. Initially branded as The Interinsurance Network, the group had stakeholders from across insurance industry firms along with affiliate members joining to come together and discuss how we as an industry might advance LGBTQ+ inclusion in the workplace.

Now with over 30 member organisations, the network has grown significantly over the years, but the foundation has remained the same: where members can share their knowledge and experience for the benefit of employees, our customers, community and industry.
