Ten years on, the concept has evolved into the ‘Bright Light Award’.
The passion hasn’t changed but the platform for presenting your ideas or views on claims has diversified.
The winner of this year's award will receive a prize valued up to $6,500 — including $5,000 cash.
Entrants must be Australian residents, work directly in general insurance and be based in Australia.
Entry is not open to lawyers, accountants or medico-legal consultants, employed in capacities other than as direct employees of a general insurance company (this includes reinsurance companies or insurance claims management companies).
In this video, ANZIIF Content Writer Anna Game-Lopata catches up with 2014 winner Kevin Nhan from QBE and 2017 winner Fiona Fong from Marsh to find out what they have been doing and how the scholarship has made a difference to their careers.
