Climate and the weather have long been a focus for insurers in terms of helping communities prepare for and mitigate against natural disasters. IAG senior meteorologist Dr Bruce Buckley says data shows that climate change is happening so the industry must contribute to the discussion around its impact — financially, physically and socially.
