Simon Johnson, Head of Claims Operations, Asia at Marsh

Simon is passionate about digitising customer journeys to deliver exceptional service levels, unlocking efficiency gains and growing revenue.

He brings to the table over 17 years of experience across diverse insurance product lines including commercial, commodity, accident and health claims. He has led large teams across multiple geographies, with notable successes in mobilizing diverse, cross-functional talents.

Most recently, in his current role as Head of Claims Operations, Asia at Marsh, Simon has launched major digital transformation projects. As Product Owner, he played a key role in infrastructure design, development of AI and automation capabilities, and drove through the culture change necessary to bring the transformation to life. In earlier roles, he optimised customer support and call center operations, achieved multiple performance turnarounds and restored service level compliance targets. Simon is an experienced public speaker, and has presented as a conference speaker on digital and claims transformation at various events including the 13th Asia Healthcare Conference: Claims Management & Fraud Detection through Predictive Analytics.
