Gala Awards Night

The ANZIIF Australian Insurance Industry Awards celebrate the individuals and organisations driving excellence across the Australian insurance sector. As one of the industry’s most respected recognition programs, the Awards highlight innovation, professionalism and leadership while fostering a strong sense of community and connection across the profession.

This year’s Awards are set to reach a whole new level. For the first time, the event will be hosted at the iconic International Convention Centre Sydney, providing a world-class stage for the industry’s night of nights. With refreshed award categories, an enhanced event experience, and an even more dynamic program, the 2026 celebration promises to be bigger, bolder and better than ever before.

Building on the incredible success of last year, this year’s Awards will deliver an elevated evening that truly reflects the innovation, excellence and impact of the insurance industry.

The Australian Insurance Industry Awards were founded by co-partners Asia Insurance Review (AIR) and ANZIIF.

How to Submit

A new fully automated digital platform has also been introduced, making the free submission process faster and easier for busy professionals to nominate themselves or their organisation.

  • Visit the submission portal.
  • On the homepage, you will find a list of categories and details regarding the judging process and submission tips.
  • Log in using an email address. You will then receive an automated email with a link to complete your sign-in. This email can take up to 5 minutes to arrive. You will then be prompted to create an account.
  • Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions.

Once Logged In:

  • From the homepage, select ‘Apply Now’.
  • Select your category from the list provided.
  • Enter your details in the Submitter Details Section.
Please note, if the Submitter and Nominee are the same, please enter the same information in both Submitter and Nominee areas.
  • Answer the 6 questions provided. Please ensure to note the weighting of each question when submitting your answer.
If you need to step away before you have completed your submission, you can select the Save Draft icon on the bottom left of the form, and return to your submission at a later time.
  • You may include one (1) supporting attachment of up to two (2) single-sided A4 pages containing charts, tables or graphics. Only labels identifying the relevant question and required legends will be considered. All other text will be disregarded.
  • For the Insurtech Start-Up of the Year category, you may also upload one (1) video demonstration to explain your proposition. The video demonstration must be no longer than 3 minutes.
  • Once your submission is complete, please acknowledge the final checks, then click Submit from the bottom right corner of the screen.

Judging

The Awards are decided by an esteemed panel of industry judges who read and score each submission individually and vote under the supervision of an independent auditor.

Judges are bound by confidentiality agreements and recuse themselves when a potential conflict arises. At no time are judges who have identified a conflict allowed to read or deliberate on a submission.

The judging panel is overseen by a presiding judge and an external auditor is present at the judging day when the judges convene.

We recognise and understand the sensitive nature of the information provided in your submission. With this in mind, there are systems in place to ensure confidentiality at every stage of the judging process.
