Being her worst critic, Kara had to be convinced by third-party validation that what she was doing was valuable. However, she was missing one critical piece – industry exposure. With the help of her Mentors, who provided her with the cold, hard truth, Kara had to push herself to develop a profile in the wider insurance industry. Driven by the desire to be there for individuals and entire communities, Kara is now involved in various Boards, Councils and Committees devoted to improving client outcomes.
