Having a marketing background enabled Jackson to understand that learning how to market something and understand what people need and how to advertise it to them is invaluable in insurance.
The other component he believes to be of equal importance is emotional intelligence.
He comments that “If I want to do this role really well, I have to understand what that person is going through.”
