This module provides you with an overview of general insurance in Australia, with particular reference to: general insurance principles, the regulatory framework and relevant laws governing insurance in Australia, industry roles and responsibilities, types of insurances (including a range of commercial insurances), an overview of underwriting and claims management and the concepts of risk and insurance.
