Angela has had almost 12 years experience in workers’ compensation, product liability and public liability matters. She acts on behalf of state, national and international insurers, self-insurers, and Australian and international corporations.
Angela provides advice, appears at conferences and in court on a wide range of matters, with particular experience in workers’ compensation claims.
Angela has acted in product liability litigation and acts as the national lawyer for a number of international corporations in relation to claims brought under the Australian Consumer Law and with respect product liability.
Angela’s own portfolio of claims involves a mix of workers’ compensation, public liability claims and product liability. Her claims often involve sensitive issues, significant injuries, live liability issues and/or high quantum assessments. She has regularly acted in claims involving catastrophic and signifcant pure and secondary mental health claims.
Angela has prepared and presented to numerous national and international clients and organisations on workers compensation and product liability law.
Recently, Angela has hosted a “Disrupt the Status Quo Lunch” in partnership with Women’s Agenda, she has presented at the seminar “Do you want Damages with That: the inconvenient truth about the online food delivery market” in conjunction with Australian Insurance Law Association and Hemmant’s List and prepared a Webinar in conjunction with a major insurer on the topic “A review of recent workers' compensation cases from QIRC and State Courts.
