Webinar: Taking the Guesswork Out of Property Insurance

There are a variety of new tools and technology that make risk-based pricing in property insurance markets possible.

Data-driven calculators are one such tool and can provide reliable sum insured values to help mitigate underinsurance risk for both insurers and their customers.

They also help to improve customer experience by taking the guesswork out of determining their sum insured. This makes it easier to get a rebuild estimate and streamlines the customer quote journey to increasing sales conversion rates.

However not all calculators are created equal. It is not always clear what data automated calculators are basing their estimates on or even how to gauge the reliability of the estimates.

In this webinar, Richard Deakin and Gary Thornley from CoreLogic provide insights into the inner workings of automated calculators and the level of detail required to gain reliable and current property rebuild cost estimates.

At the end of this webinar, attendees will be able to:

  • Discuss the data that drives the decisions within data-driven calculators
  • Describe how data-driven calculators can assist to streamline the buying process
  • Explain the benefits of using automated calculators to get sum insured estimates vs relying on purchase price or old valuations
